The Jordan Project

Based out of Amman, Jordan over the fall of 2014, immersed in the resident and refugee populations of norther Jordan. Research focused on the Syrian refugee influx and its impact on Jordanian political security, specifically the challenge of host community tensions and the influence of the ongoing war in Syria. Conducted over 65 interviews with Syrian refugees, Jordanian residents and citizens, Jordanian members of government, foreign embassy officials, UN/NGO field personnel and security specialists.
